Instructions

    To each of two porter- or tulip-style beer glasses, add a swath of lemon peel and an ice cube.

  2. 02

    To a small pitcher (or blender), add malted cocoa powder, sugar, stout and sweet Madeira wine.

  3. 03

    Process with an immersion blender (or blend) until frothy, around 15 seconds.

  4. 04

    Pour over ice and serve immediately, ideally with a dentinho, or small snack, such as peanuts.
