Instructions

    Muddle mint leaves in a cocktail vessel with spigot.

    Fill vessel halfway with crushed ice, packing tightly.

  3. 03

    Use a bar spoon to press lemon wheels against ice around vessel edge.

  4. 04

    Fill the container completely with more crushed ice.

  5. 05

    Add demerara syrup, lemon juice, Cognac, and Royal Combier to shaker tin. Shake with ice until chilled.

    Split cocktail between two shakers. Add five mint leaves to each tin. Top with ice.

    Shake and fine strain over crushed ice into the vessel.

    Arrange another ring of lemon wheels around top edge. Use a small bowl to help pack ice tightly, then remove bowl.

    Garnish the top with mint sprigs between lemon wheels and vessel edge.

    Dash Angostura bitters over the top of the drink.

    To serve, fill rocks glasses with crushed ice, garnish with mint sprigs, and pour cocktail directly from spigot.
