Instructions

  1. 01

    Stud oranges with cloves. Roast at 400°F until browned, about 30 minutes.

  2. 02

    Quarter roasted oranges. Add to saucepan with port. Simmer 30 minutes.

  3. 03

    Remove orange quarters. Strain. Add sugar and Cognac. Stir to dissolve.

  4. 04

    Serve warm in mugs with grated nutmeg, or bottle for later.
